Birthday Parties That Rock - Literally!

Celebrate your special day with a geology-themed birthday party bursting with rocks and minerals from around the world! The Rock Solid Learning Lab is a hands-on space where kids stay engaged and curious from start to finish. Guests can explore at their own pace—pan for gemstones, dig into rock and treasure tables, and experiment with the Augmented Reality Sandbox for a party experience they’ll be talking about long after the candles are blown out.

  • Private parties start at $450 and include a guided presentation, adventure digs in the sandbox, a bag of mining rough for gem mining, and a velvet pouch for each guest to collect and take home gems and treasures.

    • Flat rate includes up to 12 children and a dedicated party host

    • Additional guests are $25 each (15 children max for the best experience)

    • Space is limited, so we recommend keeping the group to about 15 kids, plus a few adults if they'd like to stay

    • Our parties are best suited for ages 4+; younger children will require close supervision

    • Party favors and take-home treasure bags are included (rock candy available as an add-on)

    Food & Celebration

    • You’re welcome to bring your own dessert, drinks, plates, and napkins (no freezer space available)

    • Cake and snacks are enjoyed during the final 30–40 minutes of your party

    • To help keep the space clean and safe, food and drinks must stay in the designated party zone

    • We’ll tidy up the exhibits while kids are sitting down for food and drinks
